I'm a filmmaker, journalist and game writer based in Southern California.

I’ve worked as a producer for Cascade Public Media in the Pacific Northwest, and a reporter at the mid-Missouri NPR affiliate, KBIA. Other past stops include Blue Chalk Media, Columbia Missourian, the Student Press Law Center and the Associated Press. My work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal.

I'm originally from São Paulo, Brazil, but I've called a bunch of places home in all corners of the U.S. I prefer to take my camera out of the city and explore the the places in between. You can usually find me in a rural town or at the nearest zoo.

I like telling all kinds of stories in all kinds of ways; whether it's with still photography, video, audio, writing or some mix of it all. For me, the medium is driven by the nature of each narrative.

Outside of journalism, I like waffles, Scrabble and flightless birds.

I'm available for assignments in the U.S. and Brazil.
